Where words Fail
– music speaks

“H.C. Andersen”

About me

I am a child of 1989, I live in a small province called Ebeltoft, approx. 1-hour drive from Aarhus. In my early teenage years, I was allowed to go to literally all the concerts I wanted and had the time of my life. I have always had a great passion for the heaviest and darkest part of the music genre, but embrace almost everything that makes sense to me.

I always dreamt about standing on stage myself and has always known that music was my call in life, but how it should be realized was first discovered when I instead of a microphone, took a camera and started capturing the perfect moment for a show and perpetuate a fantastic musical experience. Documenting the impressions in a picture was really what made sense to me.

I’m a man, with a camera, a dream and a passion, and nothing can stop me..

MY EQUIPMENT

Nikon d500

The Nikon D500 is a 21MP APS-C DSLR capable of shooting at up to 10 frames per second and featuring an autofocus system derived from the one in the D5. In other words, it’s exactly the kind of high-end DX format body that appeared to have become extinct with the D300S.

The six-and-a-half years that have passed since the D300S’ launch have seen the camera market move on considerably but the D500 does much to reclaim the position as one of the preeminent APS-C camera on the market.

As you might expect, much of the improved capability of the camera centers around sports and high-speed shooting, with significant upgrades to the shooting rate and autofocus system, but there are also major upgrades to the viewfinder, video capabilities and connectivity options which expand its utility beyond one particular niche.

Nikon 10,5 mm

Nikon 10.5mm f/2.8G ED DX Fisheye Nikkor Handling and features
For a such a compact lens, the Nikon 10.5mm fisheye feels quite weighty, although it could never be classed as heavy. Much of the lens barrel is constructed from tough plastics, with a permanent hood in place to protect the front element. At only 460g, it balances perfectly on the Nikon D300 used for testing.

Focusing is not performed internally and the front element can be seen to move back and forth by around two millimetres. Due to the extreme wide angle of the lens, filters cannot be attached to the front. A filter gel holder is provided on the rear, which very few owners of this lens will actually use. Manual focusing is aided by the smooth action of the focusing ring and a useful hyperfocal scale, which makes taking advantage of the expansive depth of field a fisheye provides, a straightforward affair.

The minimum focus distance of 14cm makes this lens suitable for shooting in claustrophobic environments, with distances becoming more distorted as you get closer to your subject.

Nikon 20mm

The AF-S NIKKOR 20mm f/1.8G ED from Nikon is a wide-angle lens that is compatible with both full frame FX and DX crop sensor cameras. The fast f/1.8 maximum aperture allows a shallow depth of field for selective focus use, as well as shooting in low-light situations.

The lens provides a 94° angle of view (30mm, 70° equivalent on DX-format cameras), and has a minimum focus distance of 7.8″, allowing you to get close to your subject while isolating it from the background.

Two aspherical and two Extra-low Dispersion elements with Nano Crystal Coating reduce sagittal flare and chromatic aberration, producing sharp images throughout the frame. Nikon’s Rear Focusing System eliminates change in physical length of the lens when focusing. A Silent Wave Motor provides quick, near-silent autofocusing. A soft pouch and lens hood are included.

Nikon 24-70mm

Balanced, fixed f/2.8 wide-angle to medium telephoto zoom lens
Praised for its reliability and overall image quality, this is a long-time favorite lens of passionate professionals. With a fast fixed aperture of f/2.8 across a 24–70mm zoom range, this lens provides both fine resolution and natural representation. A Nano Crystal Coat helps effectively reduce ghost and flare effects under harsh lighting for greater image clarity. Its Internal Focus (IF) provides fast and quiet auto focusing without changing the length of the lens, so you can retain subject to working distance through the entire focus range.
